Valentine’s Day is not just for lovebirds anymore; it’s also a day for property managers to show their love for tenants, both current and potential!

Active property managers should use Valentine’s Day (and other fun holidays) as a chance to strengthen the relationship between management and tenants, show your appreciation for tenants, and as a chance to promote management to potential tenants. ManageCasa brings a few examples of easy things management can do on Valentine’s Day.

Valentine Day Candies

1. Bring out the Goodies

Handing out candies, chocolates, or baked goods an easy and warm gesture from property management. Have them at the main office, and depending on the set-up of the properties, you can even consider sending goodies door-to-door!

2. Valentine’s Day Drawings

A great way to engage tenants is to organize a drawing of some sorts. It could be a drawing for a lucky couple to win a spa package together, or for an assortment of high-end chocolates.

3. Play Matchmaker

Another great way to engage tenants, especially single tenants, is to play matchmaker for a day. It could be a fun, playful event to sign people up and organize a mixer or a speed-dating event! An added bonus is to make the event around a charitable event to draw more people in.
